Abstract
While privatization has been well documented in terms of economic and financial analysis, little has been written from the human resources perspective and the issues of organizational culture and privatization's impact on the employees have not been studied. This thesis aims to articulate the culture in Sumerbank; to examine the possible impact of privatization of the employees; to show the culture clash between the takenfor-granted economic and financial assumptions of privatization and the organizational culture of Sumerbank; and to suggest a new privatization strategy that is sensitive to the culture of Sumerbank
