dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractAnkara üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi’yle ilgili olan makalede ne zaman ve nasıl kurulduğuna, ilahiyat fakültelerinden önce din eğitiminin ne şekilde yapıldığına ve ilahiyat fakültesinin gelişim sürecine dair bilgiler içermektedir. Buna ek olarak, fakültede iz bırakan hocalar, görev yapan dekanlar ve öğrenciler hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Makale, ilahiyat fakültesinde eğitimini ve 12 Eylül öncesi öğrenci hareketlerinin fakülteye ve eğitimine etikisini içermektedir. En önemlisi, yıllardır tarihe konu olan din ve ahlak arasındaki ilişkiyi konu edinmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis article focuses on Ankara University Faculty of Divinity. The goal is to provide reaches about when and how the faculty was opened. The religious education before the faculty of divinity and the process of the growth of the faculty of divinity. Additionally, teachers who have a big influence as well as dean’s which have served throughout the years and information about the students is covered. In addition, the article provides information in terms of education in the faculty of divinity and the student activities before12 September Coup’s effect on hindering the education partially. Most importantly, with the information gathered, the relationship between religion and morality, which has been a subject of history for many years, has been included.en_US
