This article focuses on Ankara University Faculty of Divinity. The goal is to provide reaches about when and how the faculty was opened. The religious education before the faculty of divinity and the process of the growth of the faculty of divinity. Additionally, teachers who have a big influence as well as dean’s which have served throughout the years and information about the students is covered. In addition, the article provides information in terms of education in the faculty of divinity and the student activities before12 September Coup’s effect on hindering the education partially.
