This study aims to examine the foundation and institutionalization process of the world's seventh and Turkey's first space camp, Space Camp Turkey, with the course of development and growth along its historical journey. To achieve this, information was gathered from various sources including prominent people who played a crucial role in the camp's establishment process. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the reason why Space Camp Turkey is still actively operating while other camps around the world are closed appears to be the exceptional interest of the participants.
