Türkiye'de otizm farkındalığının gelişimi ve topluma yansıması

Bu makale Türkiye'deki otizm farkındalığının 20. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren nasıl geliştiğini, bu farkındalığın gelişmesi için ne gibi çalışmalar yapıldığını ve bu çalışmaların etkilerini ele almaktadır. Farkındalığın gelişmesinin toplum düzeyinde yaptığı etkiler ve bu etkilerin sonuçları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca farkındalığın gelişmesi ile beraber otizmli bireylere olan ilgi artmıştır. Artan ilgiyle birlikte otizmli bireylerin topluma kazandırılması sürecinin en önemli kısmı olan eğitim ve bu eğitimin otizmli bireylerin hayat kalitelerini nasıl etkilediği de ele alınmıştır. Bunlara ek olarak medya unsurlarının otizm farkındalığıyla olan ilişkisi ve farkındalığa olan katkısının önemi de incelenmiştir.

This article describes how autism awareness has been developed since the middle of the 20th century in Turkey, in which studies were done to develop this awareness and the effects of these studies. The impacts of the advancement of mindfulness at the general public level and the after effects of these impacts are analyzed. In addition, with the development of awareness, interest in individuals with autism has increased. By that way, it is understood that education is crucial to integrate these individuals into society. In the last part, the effects of media elements on awareness of autism and the significance of their contribution to awareness were also examined.
