Abstract

Anadolu Koleji, ABCFM tarafından 1886 da Merzifon, Türkiye'de kurulmuştur. Bu kağıt, 1914-24 arasındaki yıllarda ki zorlukları aşma çabalarını baz alarak, bu okuldaki öğrencilerin ve kolej fakültesindeki sorunların etnik ve dinsel değişiklikerden dolayı olup olmadığından bahsediyor. Ayrıca, Yunanistan'ın Selanik kentine taşınmasını, Türkiye ile Yunanistan arası 1923 yılındaki nüfus değişimini daha detaylı anlatarak bahsediyor.


Anatolia College was founded in 1886 in Merzifon, Turkey by ABCFM. Focusing on the steps taken by the College to survive through 1914-24, this paper discusses the hardships faced by the students and the faculty of the College and whether these problems were based on ethnic and religious differences or not. Furthermore, its move to Thessaloniki, Greece will be discussed by highlighting the population exchange between Turkey and Greece in 1923.
