After World War II, the Bulgarian government changed its regime and this led to some troubles in Bulgaria. Some of them are: enforcing Turks to change their names, prohibiting Turkish to some extent, and closing Turkish minority schools. On account of these problems, a lot of Turks migrated to Turkey so as to live freely. The Öztürk family is one of the migrated families. In this project, the life of the Öztürk family before the migration, the migration process, and the Öztürk family’s adaptation to Turkey are explained.en_US
