Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği bölümünün kuruluşu ve gelişimi

Bu araştırma, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümünün kuruluş amacını, tarihsel evrimini, Türkiye özelindeki akademik ve endüstriyel katkılarını bölümün alanlarında fark yaratan mezunları üzerinden inceleyecektir. Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümünün geçmişi, kuruluş döneminden günümüze olan değişimi, bölümün benimsediği eğitim ekolü, diğer üniversitelerle olan farkları ve seçili mezunların kariyerleri genel hatlarıyla irdelenecektir. Bu çalışma, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümünün Türkiye genelindeki rolünü aydınlatmayı ve var olan bilgi eksikliğini gidermeyi hedeflemektedir.

This research will examine the founding purpose of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University, its historical evolution, and its academic and industrial contributions in Turkey through graduates of the department who have made a difference in their respective fields. It will examine the history of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University in various stages, how it changed from its inception to the present, the school of education adopted by the department, its differences with other universities, and the careers of selected graduates. This study aims to illuminate the role of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University in Turkey in general and to fill the existing gap in knowledge.
