From within the urban folklore: A METU legend

Abstract

This study tries to deal with the contemporary function of the legend as a branch in relation to the urban space. In this context, university is taken as a specific urban space in evaluating the intermelted character of university legends and campus life. The fact that legend continues to exist today is considered in relation to the adaptation of traditional literary branches into the new spaces and needs of life.
