Mardinde tarihi bir mücadele: Nusaybin’deki 1950-1958 sıtma vakaları

Bu makale; 1950'lerde Mardin, Nusaybin'de patlak veren sıtma salgınına odaklanarak o dönemdeki sıtma ile mücadele çabalarını anlamaya yönelik bir derleme sunmaktadır. Bölgede sıtma ile mücadelede aktif bir rol oynayan Âdem Zeki Pekbaş ile yapılan röportajlar ile dönemdeki zorlukların, başarıların ve çevre analizlerinin detaylı bir şekilde incelenmesi hedeflenmektedir.
