dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractPatoloji, hastalıkların tanısını koymada etkin rol oynadığı için tıp dalları arasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu bağlamda, Türkiye tıbbı üzerinde patolojinin önemi bir rol oynadığı savunulabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, tıptaki önemi doğrultusunda patolojinin Türkiye’deki tarihinin ve Türk tıbbına olan katkılarının açıklanmasıdır. Türkiye patoloji tarihi açıklanırken aynı zamanda Türk patolojisine katkıda bulunan Prof. Dr. Cemil Ekinci’nin eğitim hayatına da değinilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractPathology has an important place among other branches of medicine as it plays an active role in diagnosing diseases. In this context, it can be argued that pathology plays a vital role in Turkish medicine. This study aims to explain the history of pathology in Turkey in line with its importance in medicine and to show its contributions to Turkish medicine. While explaining the history of pathology in Turkey, Prof. Dr. Cemil Ekinci's academic life is also mentioned.en_US
