Abstract
The aim of this study is failure prediction in Turkish Banking Sector. The results of four prediction models are compared to find out the most efficient one. The models used in this study are: Discriminant Analysis, Logit Analysis, Factor-Logistic Analysis and Alternative Accounting Measures for Prediction. According to the results of this study. Discriminant Analysis has the best predictive ability. Logit Analysis, Beaver’s Method and Factor-Logistic Analysis are ranked after the Discriminant Analysis from best to worst predictive ability.
