Abstract
Community centers have a significant role in the history of Turkish folklore studies through their folklore-oriented activities, publications and especially magazines. The latter deserve special attention as a written source of oral literature products and a reflection of the folklore understanding of the community centers. This study includes the results of the analysis of a community center magazine, Ordu Community Center Magazine, focusing on the research methods used in the magazine's studies and the community center's understanding of folklore.
