Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsüne bir bakış: Jimnastik, Ankara Yapı Usta ve Erkek Teknik Öğretmen Okulu

Özet Cumhuriyetin kurulduğu ilk yıllarda Türkiye yoksulluk ve eğitim yetersizliği gibi birçok sorunla mücadele ediyordu. Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü’nün kurulma aşaması ise bu yetersizlikler sonucu başladı. Enstitünün kurulmasının başlıca amaçları ülkedeki eğitimli kesimi arttırmak ve ülkeye laik bir eğitim sistemi getirmekti. Daha sonra bu yetersizliklerden dolayı ortaya çıkan yapı ustası gibi ihtiyaçlar doğrultusunda dönemin en önemli okullarından olan Jimnastik, Ankara Yapı Usta ve Erkek Teknik Öğretmen Okulları kuruldu. Bu okulların kuruluşuyla birlikte ülkedeki eğitim ve kültür seviyesinde önemli ölçüde bir artış gerçekleşti.

In the Republic's first years, Turkey struggled with many problems, such as poverty and lack of education. The establishment phase of the Gazi Education Institute started due to these inadequacies. The main aims of the establishment of the Institute were to increase the educated population in the country and to bring a secular education system to the country. Later, in line with the needs such as master builders arising from these inadequacies, Gymnastics, Ankara Yapı Usta, and Male Technical Teacher Schools, which were among the most important schools of the period, were established. With the establishment of these schools, there was a significant increase in the level of education and culture in the country.
