Tarihi Hacıbaba Et Lokantası

Hacı Baba Et Lokantası 1942 senesinde Hacı Mehmet Saygı tarafından Malatya’da kurulmuştur. Kurulduğu tarihten bugüne farklı mekânlarda hizmet vermeye devam eden lokanta Malatya ilinin en eski lokantalarından biridir. Hacı Baba Et Lokantası Malatya’da lokantacılık kültürünün öncülerinden kabul edilmektedir. Lokanta taşrada görece geç gelişen lokanta işletmeciliği olgusunun erken örneklerinden birisi olarak değerlendirilebilir. Bunun yanı sıra lokantanın Malatya mutfak kültürünün korunması ve devam ettirilmesinde etkili olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Hacı Baba Et Lokantası was established in Malatya in 1942 by Hacı Mehmet Saygı. The restaurant, which continues to serve in different places since its establishment, is one of the oldest restaurants in Malatya. Hacı Baba Et Lokantası is considered one of the pioneers of the restaurant culture in Malatya. The restaurant can be considered as one of the early examples of the relatively late development of restaurant management in the countryside. In addition, it is thought that the restaurant is effective in preserving and maintaining Malatya culinary culture.
