dc.description.abstractThis study examines a way of creating green spaces in cities, that is roof gardening. Contributions of roof gardens to urban settlements and technical aspects of roof gardens are emphasized, and some examples are illustrated. People’s tendency towards roof gardening are examined by conducting survey research with citizens of Ankara. Thus, suggestions for roof gardening in Ankara are made by considering the results of the research.en_US
