Abstract
The comic anecdotes that have elements of humor like witticism and mockery, are the most effective products of oral humor in which someone or some event is satirized. When we take Nasrettin Hodja anecdotes into consideration, it is seen that the disruptions in the structure of the society and politics are satirized in them through a mocking discourse. In this context, our aim is to analyze the act of humor creation in four Nasreddin Hodja anecdotes in the context of theories of humor.
