dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractBu projede, Kükrer Ailesi’nin Türkiye’deki sirkecilik kültürü, tarihi ve pazarına etkileri ile Kemal Kükrer markasının kuruluş ve gelişim süreci, üretim ve pazarlama yöntemleri, temel prensipleri ve piyasaya sürdüğü markaların izlediği yollar incelenmiştir.Kükrer Ailesi’nin, 20. yüzyılın başında kısıtlı imkanlarla başladığı sirke üretimini, yıllar içerisinde kurumsallaşma, Kemal Kükrer markasını piyasaya sürme, seri üretime geçme, il dışına sirke satımı gerçekleştirme ve Avrupa’nın pek çok ülkesine sirke ihraç etme aşamaları takip etmiştir. 1999 senesinde Kemal Kükrer markasının Gülel Ailesi’ne devrinin gerçeklemesinin ardından Yılmaz Kükrer ile Muammer Gökçe Kükrer, Kükrer Fermantasyon şirketini kurmuş ve bu şirketin bünyesi altında sirke, salata sosu ve meyve şurubu üretimine devam etmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis project involves family of Kükrer’s, contribution on vinegar culture in Turkey, history of vinegar culture, the effects for the market, the establishment and the progress of the brand Kemal Kükrer, fabrication and marketing methods, basic principles and the brands that they have brought up for the market. Family of Kükrer’s production of vinegar at the beginnings of 20th century with limited facilities, the institutionalism, entering to the market, commencing to mass production, vinegar sales to other cities and to many countries in Europe were the main processes of their production. In 1999, after the brand of Kemal Kükrer has been alienated to the family of Gülel, Yılmaz Kükrer and Muammer Gökçe Kükrer established the company of “Kükrer Fermantation” and continued to produce vinegar, salad sauces and fruit syrups.
