Abstract
This thesis accompanies my experimental animation film, I Was So Afraid Of You Running Away. It explores the development of my visual identity through experimen tation and analog animation techniques. By analyzing key moments in the history of experimental animation, I discovered and applied unique storytelling approaches that shaped my artistic language. Moving away from digital production, the project high lights how analog methods expanded my creative practice. The technical and design aspects of the film are also detailed in this paper.
