dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractİstanbul, Heybeliada’da bulunan ve 2016 yılına dek eğitim vermiş olan Deniz Lisesi’nin tarihçesi, özellikleri, öğrencilerinin deneyimleri incelenmiştir. Özellikle okulun akademik eğitimi, sosyal ve kültürel olanakları, gelenekleri konuları 1960 ve 1980 dönemi öğrencilerinin deneyimleri ve anılarından edinilen bilgiler çerçevesinde karşılaştırılarak araştırma projesinde sunulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe history, features and the experiences of the students of Heybeliada Naval High School in İstanbul, which has given education until 2016, has been examined. Especially the academic education, social and cultural opportunities, traditions of the school have been explained in comparison between the terms of 1960 and 1980.en_US
