dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractBu makalede, son zamanlarda popüler meslek gruplarından biri olan kabin memurluğu mesleki anlamda incelenmiştir. Makalemizde, Arzu Ebevi Gökberk ile yapılan röportaj sayesinde bu mesleğin incelikleri, kabin memurluğunda yükselmek, Gökberk’in kendi tecrübeleri ve anıları hakkında elde edilen bilgiler aktarılacaktır. Makalenin açılışı, kabin memurluğu hakkında genel bilgilerden ve kabin memurluğunun tarihçesinden oluşmaktadır. Bir kabin memurunun başvuru ve eğitim süreciyle birlikte Gökberk’in kariyeri, mesleğinde nasıl yükseldiği ve kabin memurluğu kariyerinde yükselmek için gerekli olan maddeler ise makalenin devamını oluşturmaktadır. Son olarak Gökberk’in kariyerinin zirvesi sayılabilecek dönemi olan başbakanlık hostesliği döneminde yaşadığı ve bize aktardığı anılar sunulacaktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractFlight attendant, which is one of the popular occupational groups recently, has been examined professionally. In our article, thanks to the interview with Arzu Ebevi Gökberk, the details of this profession, the rise in the cabin crew, the information obtained about Gökberk’s own experiences and memories will be conveyed. The opening of the article consists of general information about cabin crew and the history of cabin crew. Along with the application and training process of a cabin crew, the career of Ms. Gökberk, how she rose in her profession, and the items required for promotion in her cabin crew career are the continuation of the article. Finally, the memories of Ms. Gökberk during her prime ministership hostess period, which can be considered the peak of her career, will be presented.en_US
