Karacaoğlan şiirlerinde imajlar

Makalenin ilk bölümü Karacaoğlan’ın beş şiirindeki imajların çözümlenmesine ayrılmıştır, bu çözümlemenin amacı bu şiirlerin ne tür duyusal deneyimler—görsel, işitsel, kokusal, dokunsal, tatsal-uyandırdıklarını araştırmaktır. Şiirlerin çözümlenmesinden sonra elde edilen bulgular, Marshall McLuhan’ın Gutenberg Galaksisi kitabında ortaya koyduğu düşünsel çerçeve bağlamında tartışılmıştır. Bu kitapta McLuhan, iletişim teknolojilerinin insanların algısal ve bilişsel yapılarını nasıl etkilediğini anlamaya çalışmıştır. Matbaa kültürünün algılama alışkanlıklarımızı değiştirdiğini, duyularının oranını alt üst ettiğini ve görselliği ön plana çıkararak işitsel-dokunsallığı bastırdığını ileri sürmüştür. Karacaoğlan şiirleri zengin duyusal imajlarla yüklü olsalar da, şiirlerin içeriğine bakıldığında görsel imajların diğer türdeki imajlardan daha baskın olduğu görülebilir. Ancak şiirlerin biçimi ve icrası düşünüldüğünde, işitselliğin daha ağır bastığına da dikkat çekmek gerekir.

The first part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of the imagery in five poems of Karacaoǧlan in order to explore what kinds of sensory experiences-visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile and taste-those poems evoked. After the analysis of the poems, findings are discussed within the conceptual framework of Marshall McLuhan which is elaborated in Gutenberg Galaxy. In this book, McLuhan seeks to understand how communication technologies have affected the cognitive and perceptual organization of human beings. He asserts that print technology changed our perceptual habits; it altered the ratio of senses and subordinated the auditory-tactile in favor of the visual. Although Karacaoǧlan's poems are filled with a wide variety of sensual images, the domination of "visual" over other types of images could be discernible within the content of poems. However it should also be noted that, when we consider the form and "performance" of the poems, auditory images prevail.
