dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

Araştırma kapsamında dönemsel göç hareketleri, kurucu ailenin iş hayatına entegre olma aşamaları, yönetimde yaşanan değişiklikler ve nihayetinde Şenyurt Fırın’ı ve Fırıncılar Odası arasındaki ilişki değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Ek olarak, fırıncılık sektörünün zaman içindeki değişimine ve kurucu ailenin dinamiklerine değinilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this project, origin and the development of Şenyurt Bakery is investigated based on the founding family. In the scope of this research; periodic migration movements, the stages of integration of the founding family into business life, changes in management and ultimately the relationship between Şenyurt Bakery and Turkish Bakers Federation. In addition, changes in the bakery industry over time and family dynamics of the founding family are included in the research.en_US
