dc.description.abstract	In this research, the kitchen activities and needs of the urban middle-income Turkish household have been examined, in order to improve space and storage facilities in the kitchens of social housing units. A field survey carried out on a sample population of 100 middle-incarie households has shown the inefficiency of social housing kitchens in Turkey.	en_US
