dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to point out the problems which are stemmed from the use of traditional arts, particularly miniature, in contemporary art. A theoretical survey on seeing and representation of traditional arts and miniature was made. The result of the survey is that traditional arts and miniature require a different seeing than today’s seeing regime. In the artistic and practical side of the study the problem is made clearer thanks to the works produced during the process and other contemporary artists’ works who are working in similar ways.en_US
