    Was the Ankaray metro the correct transportation solution for students?

    The Ankaray metro line was the first underground railway project constructed in Ankara. Before this metro existed, the public transportation system consisted solely of buses. Construction of the metro began in 1992, and it first became operational in 1996. Ankaray passes through the city center and provides an alternative way to connect important locations around the city. Although it increases connectivity and improves transportation, this project came at a high cost. This research paper will evaluate the Ankaray metro’s impact on students’ lives.
