    The impact of TÜBİTAK on Turkish society since its establishment in 1963

    Since its establishment in 1963, TÜBİTAK, known as The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye, has played a significant role in shaping Turkish society through scientific research centers, innovations, and technological developments. The organization played a key role in the development of research infrastructure, support of ST (Science and Technology), and the formation of scientific culture. Moreover, TÜBİTAK made a crucial contribution in strategic sectors, such as energy, healthcare, and military defense, and even actively promoted Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and the popularization of science among a widespread community.
