Bu çalışma 1950’li yıllarda Türkiye’den Almanya’ya olan işçi göçünden bahsetmektedir. Türkiye Almanya arasında olan bu işçi göçleri iki ülke içinde önemli bir rol oynamış ve bu çalışmada özellikle Türk göçmenlerin Almanya’ya olan göç süreci incelenerek, göç sürecinin sebepleri ve yarattığı etkiler üzerinde durulmuştur. 1950’li yıllarda başlayan göçlerin Almanya’nın iş gücüne ihtiyacı olmasının yanı sıra Türkiye'deki ekonomik sıkıntılarla birlikte başladığı ayrıca bu süreç içinde göç eden Türk işçilerin ekonomik ve kültürel açıdan sıkıntılar çektiği, entegrasyon ve adaptasyonda zorluklar yaşadığı görülmektedir. Baklan ailesi üzerinden Türk göçmenlerin kültürel, sosyal adaptasyonu detaylı bir şekilde anlatılacak ve bu süreçteki uyum sağlama çabası, Alman ve Türk toplumları arasında olan kültür alışverişine değinilecektir. Son olarak Türklerin ekonomik entegrasyonu ise BAKTAT şirketi üzerinden örneklendirilip, şirketin kuruluşu, gelişimi ve entegrasyon süreci anlatılarak göçmenlerin ekonomik açıdan uyum sağlama çabaları daha net bir perspektiften gösterilecektir.

This study talks about labor migration from Turkey to Germany in the 1950s. These labor migrations between Turkey and Germany played an important role in the two countries, and in this study, the migration process of Turkish immigrants to Germany was examined and the reasons and effects of the migration process were emphasized. It is seen that the migrations that started in the 1950s started with Germany's need for workforce, as well as with the economic difficulties in Turkey, and that the Turkish workers who migrated during this process suffered economic and cultural difficulties and experienced difficulties in integration and adaptation. The cultural and social adaptation of Turkish immigrants through the Baklan family will be explained in detail, and the adaptation effort in this process and the cultural exchange between German and Turkish societies will be touched upon. Finally, the economic integration of Turks will be exemplified through the BAKTAT company, and the economic integration efforts of immigrants will be shown from a clearer perspective by explaining the establishment, development and integration process of the company.
