Bu çalışmada, 1963 yılında Behruz ve Altuğ Çinici tarafından kurulmuş olan oldukça değerli projelere imza atmış Çinici Mimarlık ofisinin kuruluşundan itibaren Türk mimarisine olan katkısı incelenmiştir. Çeşitli yazılı ve internet kaynakları kullanılmış olmakla birlikte Çinici Mimarlık ofisinin ileri gelen isimlerinden biri olan ve aynı zamanda kurucuları Behruz ve Altuğ Çinici’nin oğlu olan Can Çinici ile röportaj yapılarak çalışma hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada başkent Ankara da dahil olmak üzere Türkiye’nin çeşitli illerinde önemli projelere imza atmış Çinici Mimarlık ofisinin kuruluşundan bu yana karşılaştığı zorluklar ve maruz kaldığı eleştiriler de yer almıştır. Bu çalışmanın asıl amacı Türk mimarisinin 60’lardan günümüze kadar ilerleyen sürecinde Çinici Mimarlık ofisinin Türk mimarisine yaptığı katkıları ve projelerinin önemini bizzat ofiste çalışmış ve tarihine öncülük etmiş aynı zamanda kurucuları ile yakından ilişkisi olan kişiler ile daha detaylı açıklamak ve aktarmaktır.

In this study, the contribution of Çinici Architects office, which was founded in 1963 by Behruz and Altuğ Çinici, to Turkish architecture, has been examined. Although various written and internet resources were used, the study was prepared by interviewing Can Çinici, one of the leading names of Çinici Architecture office and also the son of its founders, Behruz and Altuğ Çinici. The study also includes the difficulties faced and the criticisms faced by Çinici Architects office, which has carried out important projects in various cities of Turkey, including the capital Ankara, since its establishment. The main purpose of this study is to explain and convey in more detail the contributions of Çinici Architects office to Turkish architecture and the importance of its projects in the progress of Turkish architecture from the 60s to the present, with people who have personally worked in the office and pioneered its history, and who are also closely related to its founders.
