dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractşarkıcı ve oyuncu olan Işıl Yücesoy 2 Ekim 1945 tarihinde Kırklareli’nde doğmuştur. Bu çalışmada Işıl Yücesoy’un ailesi, Ankara Devlet Konservatuarı’nda aldığı tiyatro eğitimi, müzik sektöründeki ve oyunculuk kariyerindeki çalışmaları kronolojik olarak günümüze kadar incelenmiştir. Işıl Yücesoy şu sıralarda İstanbul’da ikamet etmekte, müzik, sinema, dizi ve tiyatro çalışmalarını birlikte yürütmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIşıl Yücesoy, who is a singer and an actress, was born in Kırklareli at 2 October 1945. In this project, Işıl Yücesoy’s family, the drama education she had taken in Ankara Devlet Konservatuarı, her works in the music industry and her acting career were investigated chronologically, up until today. Işıl Yücesoy is currently living in İstanbul, working in the areas of music, cinema, series and theatre simultaneously.en_US
