Abstract

Dispersion, nonlinearity and gain determine the intracavity pulse behaviour. We show that pump depletion and XPM play a significant role in the stabilization of high energy dissipative Raman solitons. Using this theoretical knowledge, we predict and demonstrate 7-nJ femtosecond pulses at 1120 nm. © OSA 2015.
