dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstractTürkiye’deki önemli sektörlerden birisi de tekstil sektörüdür. Orta Anadolu Tekstil Fabrikası ise Türkiye'deki en eski ve tekstil sektöründe önemli yeri olan bir fabrikadır. Bu araştırma makalesinde Orta Anadolu Tekstil Fabrikasının geçmişini, dönem politikasının fabrikaya olan etkilerini, Türkiye’ye olan etkisini, fabrikanın teknolojik gelişimini ve fabrikanın güncel işleyişi ve globale yayılması incelenmektedir.
dc.description.abstractThe textile industry is one of the most essential industries in Türkiye. The Orta Anadolu Textile Factory is the oldest factory in Türkiye and holds a great importance for the industry. This research paper explores the impact of the policies of the period on the Orta Anadolu Textile Factory, including the factory's roots, technological developments, current state, and globalization.
