Geometrik soyut sanatta Adnan Çoker

Abstract

Adnan Çoker Türk geometri soyut sanatının öncülerinden ve önemli isimlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmada sanatçının öğrenim hayatı, çıraklık dönemi, sanatının gelişimi ve kendi çizgisini bulması işlenmiştir. Çoker'in yaşadığı olayların ve eğitiminin sanatına etkisi ve sanatının Türkiye'ye ve Türk sanatçılara etkisi tartışılmıştır. Adnan Çoker'in hayatı ve eğitimi ışığında kendine özgü sanatı, Türk soyut resim sanatını taşıdığı nokta ve Adnan Çoker'in bu sanat akımındaki yerinin altı çizilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Adnan Çoker is one of the important pioneers of Turkish geometric abstract art. In this article his education, his apprenticeship, development of his art and his distinctive style are described. The effects of the events that he experienced on his style and the impacts of his art on Turkey and Turkish artists are discussed. It is aimed to highlight Adnan Çoker's unique style, the point where he carried theTurkish abstract art at and his place in this art genre in the guidance of his life and education.
