Kütüphane ve bilgi merkezlerinde elektronik ortamda verilen hizmetler ve teknoloji yönetimi

Bu makalenin amacı, hızla gelişen ve değişen bilgi teknolojileri ile birlikte kütüphaneler ve bilgi merkezlerinde yaşanan değişiklikleri elektronik ortamda sunulan koleksiyonlar ve hizmetler bağlamında tartışmaktır. Literatüre dayalı olarak betimleme yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen çalışma sonunda, kütüphanelerin geleceği için değişimi iyi ve doğru yönetme, bu bağlamda da yeni projeler geliştirme, yeni teknolojileri takip etme, öğrenme ve hızla hizmetlere entegre edebilmenin gerekliliği dile getirilmiş, bu bağlamda Bilkent Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi’nde gerçekleştirilen uygulamalara yer verilmiştir.

This article aims to discuss the changes in libraries and information centers in the light of collections and services offered in the electronic environment with the rapidly developing and changing information technology. The descriptive method which based on the literature carried out through the research. As a result of this study, the necessity of well and correct management of the changes, developing new projects, following new technologies, learning and integrating these changes into the library services were emphasized for the future of libraries. In this context, Bilkent University Library’s electronic services and applications are used as an example.
