Tarihi 4.
Stained glass art, which dates back to the 4th century, is one of the sub-branches of glass art. This art, whose essential elements are composed of light, glass, and colors, has gone through a long period of process and progress until the 20th century. The evolution of stained-glass art from the Ancient Anatolian geography to 20th century Turkey has been synthesized due to the accumulation of the past and the modern art movements of the 20th century. The conditions of stained-glass art in Turkey and the effect of these conditions on the artists have a significant share in the development of this art in Turkey. As in other handicrafts, industrialization in stained glass art directly concerns both works of art and the near future of art. Because of the fact that, artists and those who loves and appreciates works of art have an essential role in the future and reinforcement of stained glass.
