Abstract

Bu makalede, geleneksel olarak alaylı bir usulle ve zanaat kimliğiyle gelecek nesillere aktarılan seramik eğitiminin, zamanla bir yükseköğrenim kazanımı olarak değerlendirilmesi irdelenmiş ve Türkiye’de seramik eğitiminin yükseköğretim düzeyinde bir alan haline gelme süreci incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, ilgili sürecin tanımlayıcı faktörleri, gelişim aşamaları ve bu gelişimin etkileri başlıklar altında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu süreçte etkili olan eğitim kurumlarının ve metotların etkileri, ilgili kurumlarda eğitim alan öğrencilerin ve yine bu kurumlarda eğitmenlik yapan kişilerin de deneyimleri çerçevesinde değerlendirilerek, seramik eğitiminin biçimselleşmesinin bu alanda değişime yol açtığı ve çeşitli yönlerden sektöre, topluma ve sanata katkı sağladığı ortaya konmuştur. Bu biçimselleşmenin getirdiği değişimin farklı alanlardaki etkileri incelenmiştir.

In this article, the evaluation of ceramics education, which has traditionally been passed on to future generations with an apprenticeship method and craft identity, as a higher education attainment over time is examined and the process of ceramics education becoming a field at higher education level in Türkiye is analysed. In the study, the defining factors of the relevant process, the stages of development and the effects of this development are evaluated under headings. The effects of the educational institutions and methods that are effective in this process are evaluated within the framework of the experiences of the students who receive education in the relevant institutions and the experiences of the people who are also instructors in these institutions, and it is revealed that the formalisation of ceramics education has led to change in this field and contributed to the sector, society and art in various aspects. The effects of the change brought about by this formalisation in different fields have been examined.
