dc.description.abstractMevcut çalışmanın amacı üniversite son sınıf öğrencilerinin mezuniyet stresiyle başa çıkma tarzlarının romantik bağlanma boyutları ile nasıl bir ilişki içinde olduğunu araştırmaktır. Çalışmaya Ankara ilinden mezuniyetine bir ya da iki akademik dönem kalmış 215 son sınıf üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Katılımcıların 123'ü (%57.2) kadın, 78'i (%36.3) erkektir ve örneklemin yaş ortalaması 22.06'dır. Katılımcılar, Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri-II (YİYE-II, Fraley, Waller ve Brennan 350) ve Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği (Şahin ve Durak 56) sorularını internet üzerinden cevaplamışlardır. Bulgular, bağlanma kaygısı ve bağlanma kaçınması yüksek olan üniversite öğrencilerinin mezuniyet sonrası ile ilgili stres yaşadıklarında daha az probleme yönelik/etkili tarzlara ve daha çok duygulara yönelik/etkisiz tarzlara sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Bu çalışma, son sınıf üniversite öğrencilerinin mezuniyet stresiyle başa çıkma tarzlarının genel örüntüsünü ve bu tarzların bağlanma boyutlarıyla ilişkisini göstererek, hem araştırmacılara, hem de alanda çalışan uzmanlara yardımcı bir kaynak sunmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the current study was to investigate the relationship between graduation stress and attachment domains for college seniors. Two hundred and fteen university students expecting to graduate in one or two academic semester participated to the study. Out of the participants 123 (57.2%) were female, 78 (36.3%) were male, the mean age of participants was 22.06. Participants answered the questions of Experiences in Close Relationships Questionnaire-Revised (ECR-R; Fraley, Waller and Brennan 350) and Coping Style Scale (Şahin and Durak 56) via web-based database application. The results showed that students having high level of attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance were less likely to have problem focused/effective coping styles, and more likely to have emotion focused/ineffective coping styles when they feel stress related to graduation. This study has provided a helpful resource not only to the researchers but also to the practitioners and experts providing psychological support to university students.
