12 Eylül darbesinin 1980-1984 yılları arasında ODTÜ öğrencilerinin yaşamına etkileri

Abstract

Bu projenin amacı 1980 Darbesi gibi önemli bir süreçten geçen ülkenin önemli bir üniversitesi olan Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi'ne devam eden öğrencilerin bu süreçte neler yaşadığını görmek ve halk için açık bir kaynak haline getirmektir. Bu proje ile ODTÜ'ye devam eden öğrencilerinin hayatında yaşanan değişiklikler ve olaylar odağa alınırken üniversitenin kendisinin de içinde yaşadığı değişiklikler akademik kadrodan kulüplere kadar değerlendirilmiştir. ODTÜ özeline inmek için Türkiye ve Ankara'nın içinde bulunduğu durumlar da göz önüne serilirken, asıl odak olan ODTÜ'nün yaşadığı olaylar istatistiki detaylar ve içinde bulunan kişilerin görüşleriyle incelenmiştir.

The main aim of this project is to demonstrate what one of the most important universities of Turkey, METU, and its students faced during and after the coup in 1980 and also to make the foundings a public source for further investigations. With this project, aside from the changes in the lives of the students that continue their education in METU and the protests that have happened in there, also the changes in the internal structure of the university from academic staff to student clubs are considered and investigated. In the project, before diving into the details of METU in special, the conditions of Turkey and Ankara are also stated in order to ensure a better understanding of the subject and afterwards the conditions of METU and its important occurences are explored with statistical values and also the opinions of the students that have experinced the period of time ın the university.
