Yeşilçam’ın sultanı: Türkan Şoray sineması

Abstract

Yeşilçam'ın sultanı olarak bilinen Türkan Şoray 1960'lı yıllarda sinema sektörüne adım attı ve Türk sinemasının yapı taşlarından biri haline geldi. Çocukluğunda hep öğretmen olmak isteyen Türkan Şoray, tesadüfen komşusu Emel Yıldız ile bir gün sete gitmeye karar verdi. Sette Türker İnanoğlu ile tanışan Şoray, kısa süre içinde "Köyde Bir Kız Sevdim" filminin baş rolünü teklifi ile karşılandı. Teklifi kabul eden Türkan Şoray, kısa süre içinde dramdan komediye pek çok film çevirerek, seyircilerin gözünde başarıya ulaştı. Toplumsal değişimleri üstlendiği kadın rolleri ile gösteren Şoray, kendi ayakları üzerinde duramayan kadın tiplemesinden, batılı değerleri benimseyen güçlü burjuva kadın tiplemesine kadar pek çok farklı rolü oynayarak, Türk tarihine ışık tutan bir sanatçı oldu. Türkan Şoray, known as the sultan of Yeşilçam, entered the cinema sector in the 1960s and became one of the building blocks of Turkish cinema. Growing up with the dream of becoming a teacher Türkan Şoray, by chance, decided to go to the cinema set with her neighbor Emel Yıldız one day. Meeting with Türker İnanoğlu on the set, Türkan Şoray received the lead role of "Köyde Bir Kız Sevdim". Türkan Şoray, who accepted the offer, starred in many films from drama to comedy in a short time and achieved success in the eyes of the audience. Şoray, who shows social changes with the roles she takes on, has become an artist who sheds light on Turkish history by playing many different roles from woman who cannot stand on her feet to strong bourgeois women who adopted western values.
