1960 darbesi'nde Kütahya'nın hikayesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma kapsamında, Türkiye'deki 1960 askeri darbesinin sosyal, politik ve ekonomik etkileri Kütahya özelinde incelendi. 27 Mayıs 1960'taki askeri darbe, Türkiye'nin siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik yaşamını derinden etkiledi ve bu değişimler Kütahya halkı arasında da yoğun şekilde hissedildi. Darbenin sonucunda sosyal ve siyasi hayatta ayrışmalar, eğitimde propaganda faaliyetleri ve ekonomide çeşitli dengesizlikler gözlemlendi. Ayrıca, yeni hükûmetin yerel yönetimlere daha çok yetki verme politikası, Kütahya'da yaşanan ekonomik sıkıntıları daha da arttırdı. Bu çalışmada, darbenin Kütahya ve genel olarak Türkiye üzerindeki etkileri kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alındı. This study investigates the social, political, and economic effects of the 1960 military coup in Turkey, particularly focusing on its impact on Kütahya. The military coup of May 27, deeply influenced the political, social, and economic life in Turkey, and these alterations were intensely perceived among the people of Kütahya. As a result of the coup, divisions in social and political life, propaganda activities in education, and various imbalances in the economy were observed. Furthermore, the new government's policy of granting more authority to local administrations exacerbated the economic difficulties experienced in Kütahya. This study extensively discusses the impacts of the coup on Kütahya and Turkey in general.
