Araştırma Aydoğan Temel’in dublaj sektörüne girişi olan 1980’li yıllar ile 2000’li yıllar arasını kapsıyor. Öncelikle Temel’in sektöre adım atmasının nasıl ve hangi şartlar altında gerçekleştiğinden bahsedildi, Temel’in motivasyonları ele alındı. Sonrasında dublaj sektörünün iç yüzü incelendi. Araştırma, özel kanalların ve Radyo ve Televizyon Üst Kurulunun (RTÜK) açılması gibi değişikliklerin dublaj sektöründeki etkilerini inceleyerek devam etti. Seksenli ve 2000’li yılları kapsayan süreçte yaşanan gerek sosyal gerekse teknik değişimlerin dublajı, bu sektörde çalışanları ve Türk dil ve toplumunu nasıl etkilediği Temel’in anıları ve deneyimleri esas alınarak aktarıldı.

This research encompasses the period between the eighties when Aydoğan Temel started his dubbing career and the two-thousands. Firstly, it stated how and under what conditions Temel entered the dubbing industry and described Temel’s motivations. Then, it provided insight into the qualities of the dubbing industry. Then it proceeded with the examination of the changes such as the privatization of TV channels and the establishment of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) and their impacts on the dubbing industry. Temel’s memories and experiences was the derivation of this article while examining how the technical and social changes of the period affected the sector, its staff, and Turkish society and language.
