Faruk Turgut: Türk sineması ve televizyonu

Abstract

Türk sinema ve televizyon tarihine iz bırakan birçok yapımcı ve yönetmen olmuştur, Faruk Turgut’da bunlardan biridir. 1978‘de kardeşleriyle kurduğu Uzman Film şirketi ile sektöre adım atan Faruk Turgut, 1987’de yönetmenliğini yaptığı “Sis” filmiyle adını duyurmuştur. Daha sonrasında Yeşilçam ile yollarını ayıran Faruk Turgut, sinema ve televizyon hayatına kurduğu Gold Film şirketi ile devam etmektedir. Bu araştırmada Faruk Turgut’un sinema ve televizyon öncesi gençlik hayatına, sektöre girişi ve Yeşilçam’a, günümüzde aktif olarak çalıştığı Gold Film şirketine değinilmiştir. Araştımayı yürütürken kendisiyle yapılan röportajdan, Yeşilçam’ı farklı perspektiflerle ele alan kaynaklardan, Faruk Turgut ile önceden yapılmış röportajlardan ve hakkında yapılan biyografik araştırmalardan faydalanılmıştır. Böylece Faruk Turgut’un sinema ve televizyondan önceki hayatı, Yeşilçam’da imza attığı yapımlar, edindiği tecrübeler ve etkilendiği farklı yapımcı ve yönetmenler, son olarak da Yeşilçam’dan ayrılışı sonrası sinema ve televizyon hayatına kurduğu Gold Film şirketiyle nasıl devam ettiği detaylarıyla okuyucuya sunulmuştur.

Many producers and directors have left their mark on the history of Turkish cinema and television, and Faruk Turgut is one of them. Faruk Turgut, who stepped into the industry with the Uzman Film company he founded with his brothers in 1978, made a name for himself with the movie "Sis", which he directed in 1987. Faruk Turgut, who parted his way with Yeşilçam later on, is continuing his cinema and television career with the Gold Film company that he founded. In this research, Faruk Turgut's youth life before cinema and television, his entry into the sector, and Yeşilçam, the Gold Film company that he is actively working for today are mentioned. While conducting the research, it benefited from the interview made with him, the sources that examined the Yeşilçam from different perspectives, the previous interviews with Faruk Turgut, and the biographical research about him. Thus, Faruk Turgut's life before cinema and television, the productions he signed in Yeşilçam, the experiences he gained and the different producers and directors he was influenced by, and finally, how he continued his cinema and television life with the Gold Film company he founded after leaving Yeşilçam, are presented to the reader.
