The wave of immigration from Yugoslavia to Turkey, which started in 1877, has increased since the Cold War period. As a result of the decisions taken by Josip Broz Tito, who was the president of Yugoslavia during the Cold War, the Free Migration Agreement and the Balkan Pact were signed between Turkey and Yugoslavia, and after that, the migration of Turkish people and other Muslims, who had been under religious, political and cultural pressure for a long time, was allowed. The Zümro and Hacımustafa families, in the meantime, were two families that had to immigrate from Kosovo to Turkey in 1960 and 1958. In this study, the lives of Zümro and Hacımustafa families in Yugoslavia, their immigration journey and adaptations to Turkey, the Cold War period, Turkey-Yugoslavia relations and the demographic structure of Turkey after the immigrations are explained.
