Ankaray’ın Ankara’ya etkileri

Ankaray projesi, Ankara'nın toplu taşıma sistemi için geç ama gerekli bir adımdı ve Türk mühendisliği için önemli bir adımdı ama en önemlisi bu proje, ilk olduğu için planlama aşamasından başlayarak yerel ve çevre nüfusu üzerinde büyük bir etkiye sahipti. Türkiye'nin ilk kentsel yeraltı yolcu taşıma sistemlerinden biriydi ve başkent Ankara için bir ilk oldu. Bulabildiğimiz önceki araştırmaların çoğu, projenin mühendislik yönleriyle alakalıydı, projenin sosyal sonuçları yeterince incelenmemişti. Projenin sosyal etkilerine ilişkin sınırlı bilgi, farklı mühendislik temalı araştırmalara dağılmış, bu da proje hakkında sosyal bilgi bulmayı nispeten zorlaştırmıştır. Üniversitelerde ve çevrimiçi veri tabanlarında bulunan çeşitli yazılı kaynakları kullanarak dağınık bilgileri bir araya toplamaya çalıştık ve eksikleri tamamlamak için projeye doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak dahil olan farklı kişilerle çeşitli röportajlar yaptık.

Ankaray project was a late but necessary step for the public transport system of Ankara and it was an important step for Turkish engineering but most importantly this project had an arguably huge impact on the local and surrounding population and beginning from the planning phase since it was one of the first urban underground passenger transport systems for Turkey and it was a first for the capital Ankara. Most of the previous research we were able to find was concerned with the engineering aspects of the project and the social consequences of the project were not considered enough. The limited information on the social effects of the project was scattered around different engineering and other various themed researches, which made finding social information about the project relatively harder. We used various written sources that were available on the universities and online databases to gather the scattered information together and to fill the missing parts we did a number of interviews with different people who were directly or indirectly involved with the project.
