Abstract

Bu makalede Manisa’nın Kula ilçesinin tarihi, geleneksel Kula Evleri özelinde mimarisi, şehir insanının uğraş alanları, kültürü, Kula’nın coğrafi özellikleri ve Kula’yı özgün bir şehir haline getiren bu özelliklerin turizme etkisi ile turizm faaliyetlerinin geliştirilmesi ve çeşitlendirilmesi çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Makalenin teması Kula’nın tarihi ve bu tarihin günümüze etkisidir. Makalede mimari yapı ve turizm çalışmalarının incelenmesine önem verilmiş olup birincil kaynak olarak röportajlar kullanılmıştır.

In this article, the history of the Kula district of Manisa, the architecture of the traditional Kula houses, the occupational areas and culture of the city, the geographical features of the Kula and the effects of these characteristics on tourism and the development and diversification of tourism activities have been examined. The theme of the article is the history of Kula and the effect of this history to the present. In the article, importance was given to the study of architectural structure and tourism studies and interviews were used as primary sources.
