Geçmişten günümüze Eskişehir’in “Eyi” suyu: Kalabak

Bu çalışmanın genelinde Kalabak Su’yunun kuruluşu, zamanla geçirdiği değişimler, Eskişehir halkına ve sosyal yapıya etkisi üzerine odaklanılmıştır. Makalenin giriş kısmında suyun hayatımızdaki önemi ve Eskişehir’in Kalabak Su’yu keşfedilene kadar kullandığı su kaynaklarına değinilmiştir. İkinci bölüme geçildiğinde Kalabak Su’yunun kuruluş hikayesi, Gazi Mustafa Kemal’in bu kuruluştaki etkisi, yeni bir suya niçin ihtiyaç duyulduğu ve inşaat süreci yer almaktadır. Tüm bunlara ek olarak, üçüncü bölümde Kalabak Su’yunun tarih içerisindeki değişiminden bahsedilmiştir. İsale hattının değişimi ve suyun taşınma araçlarına ek olarak Sakacılık kültürünün zaman içerisindeki değişimi bu bölümde incelenmiştir. Makalenin dördüncü ve son bölümüne gelindiğinde ise Kalabak Su’yunun Eskişehir’e dair sosyal ve ekonomik etkileri iki başlık altında incelenmiştir. İlk olarak Kalabak su üretim merkezinin yarattığı hem üretim hem de dağıtım aşamasında yer alan istihdam, ikinci olarak ise Eskişehir halkının Kalabak Su’yuyla ilişkisi incelenmiştir.

Throughout this study, the focus is on the establishment of Kalabak Water, the changes it underwent over time, and its impact on the people and social structure of Eskişehir. The introduction of the article touches upon the importance of water in our lives and the water sources that Eskişehir used before the discovery of Kalabak Water. In the second section, the establishment story of Kalabak Water, the influence of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on this establishment, the need for a new water source, and the construction process are discussed. Additionally, the third section covers the changes of Kalabak Water throughout history. The transformation of the transmission line and the transportation vehicles of water, as well as the changes in the Sakacilik culture over time, are examined in this section. In the fourth and final section of the article, the social and economic impacts of Kalabak Water on Eskişehir are analyzed under two headings. Firstly, the employment created by the production and distribution stages of the Kalabak Water production center; secondly, the relationship between the people of Eskişehir and Kalabak Water is examined.
