Türk halk oyunlarını yaşatan duayen: Enver Keskin

Abstract

Türk halk kültürü; ata sporlarından halk oyunlarına, yöresel kıyafetlerden gelenek ve göreneklere kadar birçok kendine özgü değerden oluşur. Bu değerlerin zaman içerisinde kaybolmasını önlemek ve gelecek nesillere aktarımını sağlamak ise kültürün devamı için oldukça önemlidir. Bu amaç ile zamanla çeşitli kurumlar oluşturulmuş, kültürün aktarılması ve tanıtılması hedeflenmiştir. Enver Keskin de Türk kültürüne oldukça değer veren bir isim olup GEHEM adlı derneği kurmuş ve bu sayede ulusal ve uluslararası platformlarda Türk kültürünü temsil etmiştir. Bu araştırmada Enver Keskin’in kişisel arşivindeki belgelerden, çeşitli fotoğraflardan, ödüllerden, gazete haberlerinden ve yapılan sözlü görüşmeden faydalanılarak özel hayatı ve çalışma hayatı detaylı olarak anlatılmıştır. Turkish folk culture consists of many unique values such as ancestral sports, folk dances, local clothes, traditions, and customs. It is very important for the continuation of the culture to prevent these values from being lost over time and to ensure their transfer to future generations. For this purpose, various institutions were founded over time, and it was aimed to transfer and promote the culture. Enver Keskin is a person who appreciates Turkish culture. He also founded the association called GEHEM, thus representing Turkish culture on both national and international platforms. In this paper, Enver Keskin’s private and working life is explained in detail by making use of the documents in his personal archive, various photographs, awards, newspaper reports, and oral interviews.
