dc.description.abstractÇalışkan family was living in Omurfakıh village which is in Dobrich, originally known as Pazarcık and was changed to Tolbuhin during Communist Part reign. They could not resist to psychological pressures that started with the name change of Turkish-origin citizens at 1984 and they wanted to live their own culture freely. Thus, they immigrated to Turkey from Bulgaria. Before immigrating, they were warned by Bulgarians, who are closely related to them, that they should immigrate. What Çalışkan family has gone through was examined in terms of what themselves told and secondary works concerning the issue.en_US
