Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi (GAP): sulama/tarım ve kalkınma projesi

Bu araştırma, sulama ve kalkınma projesi olan Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi’nin ortaya çıkışını, ortaya çıkışını oluşturan etmenleri, projenin fikir aşamalarını ve fikir olarak bünye almasından itibaren günümüze kadar olan sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik etkilerini sorgulayıp tahlil ederek gerçekleştirilmiş bir çalışmadır. GAP’ın ortaya çıkışı ve tanımı, coğrafi boyutu, bölgenin mevcut ve potansiyel ekonomik durumu, sosyal yapısı, projenin planlama aşamaları, uygulanan yöntemler ve amaçlanan hedefleri ve öngörülecek sonuçları ele almıştır. GAP’ın kurumsal yapıya geçişi ve yönetimi hakkında, projede süreç içerisinde yapılan gelişmeleri, finansman ve yatırımları, uygulama aşamasında karşılaşılan zorlukları ve sonuç itibariyle oluşan ve gelecekte oluşması öngörülen ekonomik, sosyal ve toplumsal değişimi ele alır. This research is a study carried out by questioning and analyzing the Southeastern Anatolia Project, which is an irrigation and development project. This article focuses on the ideas formed by the project and its social, cultural, and economic effects to date since it was incorporated as an idea. GAP's emergence and definition, geographical dimension, current and potential economic situation of the region, social structure, planning stages of the project, applied methods and intended objectives, and predicted results were discussed in this article. GAP's transition and management to the corporate structure is also in the scope of this work. Furthermore, this article discusses the developments, financing and investments made in the process in the project, the difficulties encountered during the implementation phase and the socioeconomic change that occurs as a result and envisaged occurrence in the future. Examines the achievements and shortcomings of the project.
