dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractİzmir Atatürk Lisesi 1888 yılında İzmir’in Konak ilçesinde kurulmuş bir lisedir. 130 yılı aşkın prestijli tarihinde ulusal ve uluslararası akademik ve sosyal başarıları, eğitim sisteminin kalitesi, fark yaratan ve ülkenin geleceğinin şekillenmesinde rol oynayan onlarca mezunu ile Türkiye’nin adını duyurmuş saygıdeğer liselerinden birisi haline gelmiştir. Geçmişte mezun ettiği sanatçılar, yazarlar, iş adamları ve politikacıların da bir zamanlar oturduğu sıralarda geleceği parlak pek çok genci günümüzde de hayata hazırlamakta ve her geçen gün başarılarına başarı eklemektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractİzmir Atatürk Lisesi is a high school established in 1888 in Konak, İzmir. 130 years of prestigious history in the national and international academic and social achievements, the quality of the education system, with dozens of graduates who have made a difference and played a role in shaping the country's future, has become one of the most respected high schools in Turkey. Artists, writers, businessmen, and politicians who graduated in the past also once sat, prepare many bright young people for life today and add success to their achievements every day.en_US
